We can’t help but notice the fact that a lot of smartphone manufacturers have started to release smartphones that mimic the famed iPhone X. the Oppo F7 is one of those with Vivo and now Huawei also coming-up with their very own iPhone X doppelganger known as the Honor 10. The smartphone belongs to Huawei’s flagship category with the device set to be priced at around Rs. 40,000.
The Huawei Honor 10 exactly copies the iPhone X in a lot respects. Whether it’s the build quality or the overall look of the device, there’s only the small matter of the smaller notch that can tell the Honor 10 from the iPhone X. Huawei’s definitely jumped on this growing trend of making iPhone X-like copies.
The device features a dual-glass panel design with an aluminum frame in between. The build quality is pretty premium with the excellent dimensions that include a 7.7mm width and 153g weight which further adds to the smartphones good looks and aesthetics.
The small notch at the front houses the selfie sensor while not being completely bezel-less, the bottom bezel houses a fingerprint scanner which in our opinion is a good step.
Delving into a new breed of aspect ratios, the Honor 10 features greater aspect ratio compared to most other near bezel-less smartphones that tend to feature 18.5:9 aspect ratios.
Qualitatively, the smartphone features a large 5.84 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 432ppi pixel density. That’s equivalent to a 1080p HD resolution and we’re sure that it’s gpin to look visually stunning atop the large front display.
Huawei’s probably the only smartphone manufacturer with a good number of devices with a dual-primary sensor. So, it was easy to expect the Honor 10 following in those footsteps; we’re talking about a 16 megapixel + 24 megapixel dual sensor B/W with the latter sensor being responsible for wider pictures. Power-packed camera features that include phase detection autofocus a dual-tone LED flash immaculately improves an already blistering primary camera sensor.
Speaking of the selfie sensor, we’re seeing lots of firepower here with a huge 24MP sensor here. Huawei being greedy with selfie sensors? Not anymore!
The Honor 10’s hardware is made to ensure that you get the best possible user experience. Powered by an octa-core processor, the two variants with the following specifications are going to wow you atop the built-in Android Oreo OS:
Whichever variant you’ll go for, you’re sure to get lots of firepower. Other excellent and 2018-esque features atop the Honor 10 include a responsive front-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB type-C and fast battery charging to ensure that you can get the most out of your battery in a short dash of charge.
Ending the Honor 10 are its large 3400 mAh non-removable battery that promise good performance while the Purple, Blue, black and Grey colour schemes give you a wide spectrum to choose the Honor 10’s skin from.
