Huawei has been magnificent when it comes to producing high quality and value for money smartphones. The company has emphasized a lot on providing smartphones for the masses and the Honor series has honoured this cause. While the Honor 7, Honor 5C etc. sit on the business end of the price bracket, smartphones such as the Honor 3C are what truly define what Huawei is all about.
The Huawei 3C is definitely one of Huawei’s best smartphones. While going through its specifications and then getting to know its price group, we found that its specifications were no match for its price. Some of the phones Huawei has produced had some sort of specs mismatch e.g having a very large screen but very less ppi density, less RAM and smaller camera pixels. The Honor 3C is a different story.
We find it difficult to extract a loophole out of this phone. Though its design isn’t the most attractive in our personal opinion with those 3 capacitive buttons at its bottom. Other than that, the smartphone is near flawless. A good 1.3 Ghz Quad-Core processor succeeded by 2GB of RAM is one of its strong points but we’re not a 100% convinced as to will it be able to eliminate lag or not. Nevertheless, 2GB of RAM is always great news. The display comes in at an adequate 5.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 294 ppi pixel density. The ppi density could’ve done a little better!
The cameras weigh in at 8 megapixels for the primary and 5 megapixels for the secondary camera. This would be music to ears for all selfie crazy users and the primary camera also does well in fitting its images and videos within the 5.0 inches display. The phone comes in white and black colors as well. You also get 8GB of internal storage which can be further beefed up to 32GB through the dedicated memory card slot.
That’s just about all in our review of the Huawei Honor 3C. It does fantastically well for the price you pay for it because of its good selfie camera and adequate RAM making it an economical and powerful choice to go for.
