After the tremendous success of Huawei’s P9 and P9 Lite, the Chinese giants have decided to give the P9 series another shot; we’re observing that a P9 Lite mini has emerged onto the horizon with the device capable of punching well above its weight for being a mini smartphone.
Seems a cross between some Xiaomi and Huawei devices
The smartphone features quite an easy going design that claims nothing out of the ordinary; the device comprises of a metal unibody with some slick dimensions that include an 8.1mm width and 145g weight. Bravo with the build quality there P9 Lite mini!
Display wise, we’re looking at a 5.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 294ppi pixel density; equating to a 720p resolution, we’re quite sure that the smartphone’s resolution and display size would form a happy couple.
A tale of two opposite sized sensors
The caption is the way it is because the smartphone’s primary camera features a 13 megapixel sensor with an LED flash while its selfie camera shelters a much smaller 5 megapixel sensor. The selfie camera should’ve been at least an 8 megapixel one.
Packs adequate power
The smartphone’s built-in Android Nougat is powered by a quad-core processor with an additional 2GB of RAM. It won’t eliminate lag 100% but will do just fine. Other notable specs include 16GB internal storage, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, fast charging and a 3020 mAh non-removable battery.
